It is always amazing the power of dedicated and committed volunteers. The attached report shows the number of species of birdlife identified by a group of Sacramento Audubon Society visitors to the Conservancy’s Silva tract on the BKS preserve. All this in just a few hours! You’re welcome to click on, open and read the linked memo filed by Frank Gray, who served as the Field Trip Leader for this recent visit. Frank has done a wonderful job as a representative of this group, and has taken a sincere interest in what the Conservancy is doing and how its mission must be supported and protected.
Personally, I am most interested in the Great horn owl spotting, as this is one of my all-time favorite species. See if you can find one that makes your favorites list from Frank’s report.
