This is a delightful series of photos of a hawk on the Conservancy’s BKS tract.
It’s rare to see a hawk on a road like this, but clearly this one likes the Conservancy’s preserves…even the road.

Conservancy field personnel captured this close-up of an osprey (Pandion haliaetus) flying overhead from a nearby perch. The photo was taken on Conservancy mitigation land associated with a managed marsh complex.
