Regulars know that one the most challenging problems the Conservancy deals with each day is controlling non-native, invasive weeds. This activity sucks up a huge portion of the Conservancy’s budget each year.
We’re always looking for creative and science-based strategies to deal with this problem. One of the best sources is Cal-IPC, or the California Invasive Plant Council. If you want to really help out, CalIPC would be a great place to volunteer, take a class, attend their conference or donate. We heartily endorse them!
